We provide engineering solutions for the global rail industry and specialize in mechanical engineering programs for rail equipment including passenger rail cars and locomotives. Our services include system design and analysis, modeling and drafting, equipment inspections, equipment engineering, fleet management, and technical writing. McDowell Engineers has collaborated with State transportation agencies, railcar rebuild shops, locomotive rebuilders, and small railroads on various rail equipment engineering projects. Our team of engineers and technical writers have extensive experience providing creative solutions to engineering problems in the rail industry.
