Defect Tracking
Introducing Isaac, a recent graduate from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Hailing from Garner, NC, Isaac has been a dynamic addition to our team, bringing a blend of enthusiasm and dedication.
In his day-to-day role, Isaac assists with various engineering tasks, primarily focusing on reviewing the Defect Log. His versatility also shines through in his experience with HVAC and heat transfer analysis. Isaac has been with McDowell Engineers & Associates (MEA) for about 8 months, having previously collaborated with us during a 3-month internship with NCDOT.
Isaac's favorite part of working at MEA is the opportunity to learn from his colleagues and contribute to projects that enhance the experiences of railroad passengers and crew members. His career choice was driven by a passion for heavy equipment, public transit, and helping others.
Outside of work, Isaac enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including karting, reading, sailing, attending concerts, learning to play instruments, watching racing, and working on his car. He's also passionate about fashion, particularly the creative use of color and texture.
Though Isaac is still building his travel resume, he's already split between the vibrant atmosphere of San Diego, California; the serene mountains of western North Carolina; and the bustling, traffic-heavy, city of Nairobi, Kenya.
Isaac's multifaceted interests and commitment to engineering make him a valuable member of our team, continually inspiring us with his drive and creativity.
